Walter J. Schwenk, 98, of Wallingford, PA, formerly of Springfield, PA passed away on November 20, 2016.
Beloved husband of the late Nancy M. Schwenk (nee Danna); loving father of Linda M. Tait (Edward) of Upper Chichester, PA, Walter J. Schwenk (Mary Ann) of Medford, NJ, Nancy J. Urglavitch (Thomas) of Springfield, PA and Steven T. Schwenk (Carolyn) of Chester Springs, PA; loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Julia Strimel; predeceased by his brothers William Schwenk and Robert Schwenk.
Walter was a Temple graduate. He was a World War II Naval Veteran. He retired from IBM after a 30 year career. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Edgemont Country Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 9:00-10:20 AM Monday, November 28, 2016 at St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026 followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Int. SS Peter & Paul Cem.
