Wanda M. McCain, age 62, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on September 14, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Martha McCain (nee Cofer).
Wanda was a graduate of West Philadelphia High School. She was employed as a cook at the Café at the University of Pennsylvania Bookstore. Wanda attended the Senior Sunshine Center with her mother, was an active member of Triumph Baptist Church and overcame many illnesses during her lifetime.
Wanda was predeceased by her siblings William "Billy" McCain, Terri McCain and Paul Hammonds. She is survived by her brother Ronald McCain, her sister Deana McCain, 5 nieces and nephews, 7 great-nephews and her lifelong, best friend Lily Parker "Shorty".
