William Harvey Brown, Jr.

William Harvey Brown, Jr., “Brownie”, 66, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 19, 2025.

Born October 23, 1958 in Media, PA, he was son of the late William H., Sr., and Norma (nee Patterson) Brown.

Bill and Cyndi met in High School and have been inseparable ever since. They enjoyed the quiet times at home, just them and their pets. Some of their best memories were trips to Broadkill Beach, trout fishing with his wife and kids, hunting the mountains of Bradford County, and enjoying time with family especially the grandkids. Bill always had a smile on his face and every person who met him loved him.

Bill was a man who was dedicated to the job and loved being a lineman. He was one of the few people who could honestly say he loved going to work every day for the past 47 plus years. He got to work side by side with his sons, in what we called “the family business”.

Bill was the beloved husband of 46 years of Cynthia (nee White) Brown; loving father of William H. Brown, III (Kelly), Brandon J. Brown (Krista), and Brett C. Brown; adoring grandfather of Dylan Brown, Colton Brown, Rori Brown, Bailey Brown, Hunter Brown, and Beau Brown; and dear brother of Carol Pomraning and Beth Brown. He was predeceased by his sister, Lynn Donnelly (Frank).

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382. Interment is private.
