William Gallagher

William C. “Bill” Gallagher, 92, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of West Chester and Springfield, PA, passed away on October 5, 2020.

Born in 1927, Bill was the son of the late Edward and Ann (Boyle) Gallagher.

Bill was the beloved husband of the late Mary Josephine Gallagher (née McElroy); loving father of Loretta Gallagher, Elizabeth Brehm and Suzanne McAndrew (Patrick); devoted grandfather of Joseph, Kerry, Daniel, Charles, Ian and Mary Kate.

In addition to his wife and parents, Bill was predeceased by his siblings, Rev. Daniel J. Gallagher, John Gallagher, Edward Gallagher and Mary Gallagher.

Bill served honorably in the US Navy during World War II. He worked in the Insurance industry as Vice President of Underwriting.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM Monday, October 12, 2020 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Rd, West Chester, PA. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
