William Carroll

William Patrick "Bill" Carroll, age 65, of Earleville, MD, passed away on January 22, 2019.
Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas Michael, Sr. and Helen (nee Hefton) Carroll.
Bill served his country honorably in both the US Marine Corp and the US Army.
He then worked for many years for Sun Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company in Chester, PA and later as a carpentry homebuilder.
He enjoyed fishing and crabbing on the Sassafras River, was an avid collector, and a gifted artist.
Bill was also a member of the Cecil County Lions Club.
He had a kind soul who was genuine to all who knew him.
Bill was the dear husband of Mary Alice (nee Mansfield) Carroll; the loving father of William P. Carroll (Lauren), and the devoted grandfather of Reegan, Peyton, and Mason.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Carroll Grigas (Thomas) and his three nieces and one nephew, Colleen Graveline, Kathleen Hagan, Michael T. Carroll and Amanda Grigas.
Bill was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Michael Carroll, Jr.

19064, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
Interment private.
