William P. Doring, Jr., age 78, of Bryn Mawr, PA, formerly of Malvern, PA, passed away on September 6, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William P. and Helen Doring).
William served in the United States Army.
He was employed as a Sales Representative in the education industry.
William was a member of Overbrook Golf Club.
He enjoyed playing bridge, reading, history, storytelling and was a kind and generous man.
William is survived by his beloved wife Christine Doring (nee Lanahan), He was the loving father of Andrew B. Doring (Kori) and the late Timothy and Geoffrey Doring.
Brother of Michael Doring (Barbara), Anne Murphy, Helen Marie Grey, Sr. Carole Doring, RSM and Patricia Grubb (Dave).
Also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, September 14, 2018 9:30-11:00 AM St. John Neumann Church, 380 Highland Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
