William J. Doyle, age 88, of West Chester, PA, passed away on September 12, 2015.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Edna (nee Young) and John Doyle, William Served proudly in the Army during the European Theatre of World War II. He worked in the coal mines of upstate Pennsylvania before moving to West Chester, PA. William worked for American Viscose Company before his career at Boeing, from which he retired in 1998.
William was an active boater and fisherman out of Stone Harbor. He was an avid reader and history buff.
William was pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 57 years Florence (nee Grady) in 2009.
He is survived by his adored children Linda Deeney (Patrick) of West Chester, PA, Patricia Bell of Morton, PA and William T. Doyle (Andrea) of Chadds Ford, PA. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Maureen Gallagher (James). William is also survived by his grandchildren Lisa Humayan, James Gallagher, Katherine Doyle and Meghan Doyle and his 5 great-grandchildren.
