William Kitzinger

William J. Kitzinger, age 88, of Clayton, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA and Upper Darby, PA, passed away on September 20, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frank and Helen V. Kitzinger (nee LeDent). He was a graduate of South Catholic High School in Philadelphia. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed as a machinist for Arco and Sunoco in Philadelphia. He retired in 1992. William enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing pinochle and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.



William is survived by his wife Katherine M. Kitzinger (nee Field), his children Kathleen Kitzinger, Marianne Rolle, Denise Middleton (Norman) and William J. Kitzinger, Jr. (JoAnne), his sister Helen Gault (John), 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, September 24, 2014 9:30-10:25 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
