William Kline

William Robert Kline, age 98, of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William and Rose (nee Messina) Kline.

William was a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  He also served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

William was the beloved husband of Mary Jane (nee Carberry) Kline; the loving father of Maureen A. Long (Dan) and William R. Kline, Jr.  He was the devoted grandfather of Sandra Affourtit, Colleen Brennan Meehan, Shannon Kline, Dylan Long, William Kline, III and Juliana Long.  He was the great-grandfather of Oliver Affourtit, Kennedy Affourtit, MacKenzie Meehan, Angelo Meehan and Clarice Kline Meehan.  William was predeceased by his sister, Violet Santomero.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass, Monday, November 30, 2020, at 10:00 AM, at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA  19008.  A memorial service will be held in April, 2021.
