William LaMon, III

William E. LaMon III found his way home to our Lord in heaven on June 19, 2021.

William spent each of his days on this earth as a devoted husband and loving brother, father, and grandfather. He served his community in Upper Darby as the local Pharmacist at both Hahn and Shadeland Pharmacies and as a volunteer fireman at Garrettford Fire Company. With all he met, he shared his sense of humor and his love for the Phillies. When asked about his favorite memory, William spoke about the many memories he shared with friends and family at the beach.

William is survived by his beloved wife, Catherine (nee Bell) LaMon; his loving children, William LaMon (Carol), Steven LaMon (Marianne) and Sharon McManus (Thomas), his 9 cherished grandchildren and 6 precious grand-grandchildren. He is also survived by his dear sister, Carol Massengill (Robert).

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Friday, June 25, 2021, 9:30 – 10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, 610-353-6300, followed by his Funeral Service at 10:30 AM.  Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
