William J. Loftus II

William J. “Bill” Loftus, II, age 75, of West Chester, PA passed away on January 25, 2025.

Born in West Chester, PA to the late William J. and Thelma Mae (nee Emerson) Loftus, Bill had a strong work ethic and owned a trucking business, Loftus Mail Service. He enjoyed restoring cars and could fix anything. Bill was a star football player at Owen J Roberts High School and also ran track. He was an avid storyteller and was always willing to help anyone, much like his father. His memory was impeccable. Bill was also an avid history buff and a family man.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Doris (nee Hamara) and his cherished children William Loftus, III, Ryan Loftus (Lorela) and Bradley Loftus, his adored grandchildren Liam, Kaylee, Jameson, Mia, Lhea and Dyllan. Also survived by his siblings Kathleen McAfee (the late James), Charlote Trego (Jack), Janice Hannum (the late Jeff), his brother-in-law Bob Wheatley and his nieces and nephews. Bill was pre-deceased by his sister Mary Wheatley.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Thursday, January 30th 9:00-11:00 AM at St. Agnes Church, 233 Gay Street, West Chester, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment is private. Reception to follow.
