William R. "Bill", age 26, of Philadelphia, PA, formerly of Berwyn, PA, on December 28, 2016 from a brain tumor associated with Neurofibromatosis.
Bill was the beloved son of William V. and Carolyn Marconi (nee Dale). Loving brother of Elizabeth Dale Marconi (and her fiance Alexander J. McKinley). Dear grandson of Claire Nelson Dale and the late Kieran J. Dale and G. Julia Marconi. Nephew of Kieran J ("Kerry") Dale Jr., Robert Dale (Brenda) and Maryclaire Dale. Also survived by cousins Kelly Dale, Bobby Dale, Brendan Dale, KD Dale, Jason Dale, Leah Sullivan and Janine Bryant as well as his longtime physician, Dr. Peter Phillips, of CHOP.
Bill earned a B.A. in Political Science from LaSalle University in 2012, and was a 2008 graduate of Conestoga High School. Bill was employed as a Project Coordinator at M3 USA, a global pharmaceutical marketing research firm in Fort Washington, PA. He was previously employed as a foreclosure clerk at the law firm Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP in Philadelphia.
Relatives and friends are invited to Bill's viewing on Sunday, January 1 from 4:00-7:00 PM The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 W. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA (610) 989-9600 and Monday, January 2 from 10:00-11:00 AM at St. Norbert Church, 50 S. Leopard Road, Paoli, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's name can be made to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Research Fund at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, P.O. Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178 or to the Friends Association for Care and Protection of Children, 113 W. Chestnut Street, West Chester, PA 19380 (homeless shelter and homeless prevention programs).
