William McCrea, Jr.

William Joseph "Howdy" McCrea, Jr. of Drexel Hill, PA, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, passed away on September 17, 2013 at home after a long battle with lung cancer. Born in Philadelphia on August 11, 1934, he was the son of the late William and Catherine McCrea (nee Clinton). He served in the United States Navy.
William is survived by his wife, Mary Louise (nee Cunningham), his two daughters, Mary Elizabeth (Adam) Theodore and Margaret Erin (Ralph) DiGiovanni, and his grandchildren Kaitlin, Ralph and Carly DiGiovanni, Sophia and Audrey Theodore and Valarie McCrea. He is also survived by his brothers, Thomas, Connell and Gerard McCrea and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Patrick William McCrea.
Services and Interment will be private.
