William P. "Mickey" McMonigle, III, age 60, of Drexel Hill, PA and North Cape May, NJ, passed away at his home on January 5, 2015 surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on April 8, 1954 in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late William P. McMonigle, II and Mildred McMonigle (nee Marley). He was a 1972 graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School. He was employed as a Steamfitter with Local 420 in Philadelphia for 42 years. Mickey was a volunteer fireman with the Garrettford-Drexel Hill Fire Company.
Mickey is survived by his wife, Maureen (nee Roberts), his children Kristin Callaghan (Edward), William IV, Maureen, David Moran (Chrissy), Patrick Moran, Jennifer Torpey (Brian) and Mary Moran, his grandchildren Sienna Rose, Halley and Jonathan and his sister Marilyn Lerario (Christopher).
Relatives, friends, members of Union Local 420 and Garrettford-Drexel Hill Fire Company are invited to his viewing Friday, January 9, 2015 7:00-9:00 PM and Saturday, January 10, 2015 9:00-10:15 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (Cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
