William Mong

William E. "Sarge" Mong, age 74, of Drexel Hill, PA, formerly of South Philadelphia, PA, passed away on December 30, 2016. Born in York, PA, he was the son of the late Charles Mong, Sr. and Sadie Mae Mong (nee Brennaman).



"Sarge" served in the United States Marine Corps as a Master Gunnery Sergeant, from where he retired. He was also employed as a Security Guard with UPS in Philaelphia and retired in 2004. He was a member of the Upper Darby Marine Corps League.



He is survived by his loving wife, Nicki A. Castoria, his stepdaughter, Nicki Anna Castoria, his children Bill and Jackie, 8 grandchildren, his siblings Charles Mong Jr. (Julie), Carol Mong, Richard Mong, George Mong, Donald Mong (Patricia), Linda and Patty Mong,, Ronald Mong, Terry Mong (Kathy), James Mong (Kathy), Kathy Mong, and John Mong (Donna), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Mong.
