WILLIAM L. MYRTETUS, JR., 71, of West Grove, PA, formerly of West Chester, PA passed away on February 21, 2016.
Born in Atlantic City, NJ, William was the beloved son of the late Margaret (Alexis) and William L. Myrtetus, Sr.
William was the beloved husband for 49 years, of Eileen R. (nee, Gibbons); loving father of William L, III, Vincent J., Jason (Angela) and Leigh-Ann Maro (James); loving "Poppy" of James, Joseph, Michael, Matthew, Evan, Keira-Leigh, and Reilyn; dear brother of Susan Ayers (Duane) and the late Eileen Chandler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School and attended St. Joseph's College and the Wharton School of Business of The University of Pennsylvania. He was an Executive Mortgage Loan Officer with National Penn Bank in Boyerstown, PA.
William loved the beach and enjoyed vacationing in Sea Isle City, NJ. He was an avid sports fan, a Flyers season ticket holder, enjoyed playing tennis and was a member of Radley Run Golf Club.
William was a committed family man, a true animal lover and a devoted Poppy to his grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Friday Eve 7:00-9:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and to his Memorial Mass 10:30 AM Saturday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Rd, West Chester, PA 19382.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue, Bright Horizons Fund, P. O. Box 638, Warrington, PA 18976.
