William L. Pyle, 85, of Fort Myers, FL, formally of West Chester, PA, passed away on June 2, 2023.
Born June 17, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was a son of the late William Henry and Dorothy (née Kelly) Pyle.
He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force for 5 years, stationed in Loring Maine.
William spent his career working in various sales positions and was the Vice President of Sales for Alex C. Fergusson Company for almost 15 years.
During his years in retirement, Bill spent his time as an avid reader of spy novels. He was very involved and kept up to date with all of his grandchildren's activities. Bill enjoyed playing golf and relaxing with crossword puzzles. He was passionate about many things and could hold a conversation with anyone. Bill was known for his voice and could be heard singing to his grandkids, performing in his barbershop quartet-the Bryn Mawr "Mainliners", or humming any tune that may have popped into his head. His ability to make those around him smile and laugh was just a small part of his charismatic personality.
William was the beloved husband of the late Patricia (née Kress) Pyle; loving father of William J. Pyle (Megan), Cynthia A. Heiden (Robert), Mary P. Timlin (Jerry), Michael A. Pyle (Briana), John P. Pyle (Gina); adoring granddad of Jason, Bobby, Billy, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Molly, Michael, Savannah, Patrick, Jacob, Susanna, and Liza; and dear brother of David Pyle, Nancy Wilman (Al), Patti Cawley (Carl), and Jim Pyle (Lee).
