William J. Rauchut

William J. “Bill” Rauchut, age 96, of Newtown Square, PA,  passed away on May 23, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1926, he was the son of the late Stephen and Anna (nee Devenney) Rauchut. He was a proud WWII Army veteran who was awarded 3 Bronze Stars and a Victory medal. William was an avid beachgoer and he loved spending time in Cape May, NJ.

He was the beloved husband of the late Joan B. (nee Betson) Rauchut; loving father of Marilyn J. Graff (John), Cecile A. Reichardt (Robert), and John F. Rauchut (Margaret Ann); caring grandfather of Jennifer Holgado (Dennis), Julie Plzak (Stephen), Jill Graff, Lauren Staffieri (William), Kimberly Bartolomeo (John Paul), Matthew Reichardt (Jennifer), Ian Rauchut, and Gianna Rauchut; predeceased by siblings Stephen Rauchut, Anna Rauchut, and Marguerite Rauchut; also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:00-10:30 AM Friday, June 3, 2022 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Road, Media, PA 19063. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
