William Shaw

William J. "Bill" Shaw, 76, of Glen Mills, Pa (formerly of Darby Township) passed away on November 4, 2018. He was the son of the late William F. and Catherine (nee Flanagan) Shaw. Bill was a graduate of West Catholic High School for boys. He was a US Army Veteran and longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. He worked for many years for Zeks Air Dryer as a purchasing agent; retiring in 2007. He had also worked part time for Givnish Family Funeral Homes and presently The Donohue Funeral Homes. Bill enjoyed golfing, bowling, watching Eagles and Notre Dame football games but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was the beloved husband of Claire M. Shaw (nee Kienest), loving father of William C. (Amy) Shaw, Christine (Dan) McLaughlin, Tracy (Brian) Herzog, adoring grandfather of Jake, Dylan, Brendan, Kiera, Alex and brother of Kathleen (Tom) McCartin. Family and friends are invited to Bill's Visitation 9:00 - 10:20 AM followed by his 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Friday November 9th at St. Joseph's Church 500 Woodlawn Ave. Collingdale, Pa 19023 Int: SS Peter & Paul Cemetery
