William Stevenson

William P. Stevenson, age 81, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on October 30, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William P. Sr. and Estella Stevenson (nee Dyson). William was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School in Philadelphia. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a carpenter in the construction industry.



William was the beloved husband of Mary T. Stevenson (nee O'Malley). He is survived by his children William, III (Marie), John (Jennifer), Mary Nilan (Ed), Charles (Patricia) and Kevin (Kelli), his grandchildren Wills, John, Ed, Joe, Matt, Danielle, Ava, his great-grandchildren Connor and Nora, and his siblings Rose Delatore, Anna Marley, Ted Stevenson and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Estella "Mike" McClellan.



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, November 4, 2013 9-11 AM St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
