William Joseph Ward

William “Bill” Ward, age 70, of Philadelphia, passed away December 16, 2023.  Son of the late Charles William and Rose Marie (nee McCullough) Ward.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Megan Ward; His grandchildren, Christopher and Jayden Quire; Sisters, Eileen Bair and Marie D’Eletto. Bill was predeceased by his brothers, Robert Ward, Kevin Ward, and Charles Ward.

Bill graduated Class of 1971 from St. Tommy Moore High School and Class of 1975 from Delaware Valley University, where he obtained a degree in Ornamental Horticulture. He was athletic, intelligent, and had a love for nature. He enjoyed spending his time writing and reading, especially the bible, as he had a deep connection and love for Jesus. He was an avid chess player, and his favorite time of year was Christmas, when he would play Santa Claus for family and friends. Bill was a loving, giving and kind soul.
