William Wilson

June 23, 1928 — March 13, 2015

William F. "Bill" Wilson, of Stuart, Florida, died peacefully on March 13, 2015 after a battle with cancer. Born in June 23, 1928, in Fletcher, KY, he was the son of the late William F. Wilson, Sr. and Kathleen Wilson (nee Amburgy).



Bill graduated West Virginia University in 1950 and soon joined the United States Army where he ultimately met his wife. After being discharged from the Army, he married and became a successful business man in the Philadelphia area most of his working life.



In 1974, he started the East West Label Company in Conshohocken, PA which is still family operated by his two sons and a granddaughter. He was an avid golfer and a life time member of Overbrook Golf Club in Bryn Mawr, PA and Willoughby Golf Club in Stuart, FL. He attended St. Katherine of Siena Church in Wayne, PA and St. Andrew Church in Stuart, FL and was a member of the Columbus Club Catholic Men's Society.



He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Roseanne McLaughlin Wilson and his siblings, Henrietta Wilson Bailey, Robert Wilson and Kenneth Wilson.



He is survived by four children Christopher Wilson and wife Eileen, Ann Wilson Hill and husband Rennie, William Wilson and wife Gerilyn, Mary Wilson Miller, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.



A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM St. Katharine of Siena Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087 where relatives and friends may call from 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.



In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations of sympathy be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
