It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of William “Will” Burns Warner, on September 18, 2021, at the age of 32.
Will was born on June 27, 1989, raised in Broomall, PA and resided in Fayetteville, NC for the past several years. He is survived by his loving parents Diana and Robert Warner, Jr, brothers Tripp and TJ, sister-in-law, Sam, maternal grandmother Doris Fannon, four nieces and nephews, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his “military family”.
A graduate of Marple-Newtown High School, Will enlisted in the United States Army in 2008. He honorably served until 2018 as an Intelligence Analyst in Special Forces, Orange Division, where he was awarded many honors and distinctions.
Will was a courageous young man with a heart of gold and a smile that would light up the room. His love of family, country, hockey, the Flyers, working out at the gym and bowling, all took a back seat to his beloved Australian Shepherd “Atlas”, always by his side or on his lap. His smile will brighten the gates of heaven for eternity and the lives he touched will forever be changed for knowing his kind spirit.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11, 2021, 11 am at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 Noon. Interment West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Will’s memory to Fisher House Foundation, Inc., 12300 Twinbrook Pkwy., Rockville, MD 20852 or www.fisherhouse.org .
