Yanping "Ping" Wu

Yanping “Ping” Wu, 76, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on October 3, 2022. Ping was born and raised in Shanghai, China. She graduated from the prestigious Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1968 and worked in mechanical and civil engineering in China and the US before retirement.

Ping was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a caring big sister. Ping enjoyed homemaking, gardening, and catching up with new technology. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Zhichao Tian, Son Jun Tian (Honglei), grandsons Hanwen, Eric, Allan, and sisters Yueping and Hongqi.

Ping’s family intends to do a private ceremony to recognize and celebrate her life.
