钱佩珍是詹玉龙挚爱的妻子，詹翊强慈爱的母亲。2022年4月12日上午8：46在Lankenau医院，佩珍握着玉龙、翊强、儿媳沈文静的手平静地去了天堂。她在世的至亲还有丈夫玉龙、儿子翊强、儿媳文静、孙女詹雨瞳（Viviana）和詹雨眉（Annie）。佩珍于1947年11月16日生于上海，父亲钱启荣、母亲陆友于。1961年秋季，她考入上海市重点中学华东师大一附中，与玉龙成为青梅竹马的同学。1966年文革开始，佩珍于68年冬去了上海崇明新海农场工作。73年底上调至上海铜厂，历任驾驶员、统计员、财务会计等工作。1997年从厂里退休后，继续在上海人才市场浦东分部工作11年。佩珍于1976年与玉龙结为伉俪，情深意笃，相濡以沫。1977年他们的独生子翊强诞生。佩珍华丽转身为贤妻良母、相夫教子，烹饪、缝纫、家务管理样样拿得起，持家有方，教育有度，成为家庭最可靠的大后方。当时居住处是一个有公公婆婆、五位兄弟家庭同住的大宅。佩珍敬老爱幼，与长辈、平辈相处融洽，对小辈侄儿侄女也视同己出，关心爱护。玉龙于1977年参加文革后恢复的第一届高考，进入上海海运学院学习。留校工作至2011年以教授职务退休。翊强2001年上海交大硕士毕业，同年秋天起在美国约翰霍普金斯大学攻读博士，2007年获得博士学位。从事医疗人工智能的研究和产业化，并取得一定的成绩。儿媳沈文静2001年清华大学毕业，同年赴美国密歇根大学攻读博士，2008年获博士学位。2016年获德雷克索尔大学终身教职。他们事业上的成功离不开佩珍的鼎力相助，佩珍也常常为此感到骄傲而自豪。2013年翊强和文静的爱情结晶雨瞳诞生，2016年第二个宝贝雨眉出生，就此佩珍与玉龙经常到美国居住，帮助翊强和文静扶助两位孙女成长。文静称佩珍为世界上最好的婆婆，两位孙女更是把奶奶夸不离口。美国住宅大，庭院里树木花草多，佩珍内外兼顾。外出采购前，她事先都写好清单，疫情期间两个冰箱及储藏室都装满了生活用品。窗户上的窗帘，床上的被套，床单都是她亲手用缝纫机拼接或修补而成，前后院的树木花卉也都是从农场选购后亲手栽培、施肥，使两个院子五彩缤纷、生机勃勃。每逢节日晚上，院子里灯光闪烁，美好吉祥，这里都有她一份辛劳。佩珍生性善良、为人热情、和蔼可亲、温文尔雅、甘为蜡烛、尽心尽责、任劳任怨。在中国居住时，玉龙带的本科生、研究生视她如母，她经常召集大家一起聚餐。对一些生活贫困的学生，她还会送衣问暖，力尽一位师母的责任。在美国居住时，强儿与文静交大、清华和美国的同学也经常能到我家享受她一手好厨艺带来的快乐中国情。佩珍和玉龙还在美国结识了一批志趣相投的老年朋友，互相走动，交流生活中的情趣。佩珍中西融合的生活能力和热情好客的待人态度，获得了大家的交口称赞。世事无常，斯人已逝。佩珍过早地离开了我们这个幸福、美满、其乐融融的家庭，离开了挚爱她的玉龙、强强、文静和微微、眉眉两位小孙女，离开了她真爱的亲朋好友。我们相信她只是暂时地离开了我们，她会在天上静静地看着我们，分享我们的喜悦和成绩，帮助我们战胜困难和挑战，直到我们重逢的那一天……
